The Tomcat JV baseball team opened its season on a successful note by downing Pilot Point by the score of 8 to 1. Logan LeDane started the game at pitcher with Devin Lutringer finishing the game, both pitchers did a very good job keeping the Pilot Point players off of the basepaths as not a single earned run was given up by either pitcher. At the plate every Tomcat contributed with runs or RBI's and every inning the Tomcats had the Pilot Pitchers in trouble with numerous baserunners. Overall it was a very good opening game with much promise shown by these young men.
