Jan Jackson |
Mrs. Jackson is a native of Sherman, Texas, and is a 1968 graduate of Sherman High School. In 1984, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from East Texas State University in Commerce, along with a Texas Teacher Certification in Secondary Composite Business Education. Mrs. Jackson also has Texas Teaching Certifications in Secondary English, Secondary English Language Arts, Secondary Journalism and a 163 Special Education Supplemental Certification. During her twenty-six years of experience, Mrs. Jackson has taught reading, all levels of high school English, economics, and journalism. She enjoys reading & studying literature, baking & sharing cupcakes, and visiting with her daughters & grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson’s favorite quote was penned by Sister Mary Rose McGeady: ”There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life.” |
