Ms. Henderson has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin College. She received her teaching certification training from Texas A&M - Commerce. She has been a teacher for over thirteen years, twelve of those years being with the Tom Bean ISD. Ms. Henderson is certified in Secondary Education, English, Speech, and Special Education Supplemental. She currently teaches English IV and Speech classes at Tom Bean High School.  Ms. Henderson has twin daughters at Tom Bean High School.

 

Ms. Henderson believes in the necessity for preparing all students for college and the workplace. “There is no greater job or responsibility than being a secondary teacher. Many students rely on us for guidance and reassurance before making life-changing decisions.”
